Domain Partition Explained
An email server has multiple domains on 1 server. The email server basically holds multiple company email accounts partitioned by domain.
pbxnsip works in the same way. The pbxnsip could be used in a multi-tennent mode and configured to use multiple domains.
e.g.
company1.com
company2.com
company3.com
1 Building -> 1 PBX -> 3 Companies = 1/3 rd of the price.
How does that save us money?
In a normal case, a building holding 3 companies would really mean they all had their own PBX system. This means 3 times the price.
With pbxnsip, you can buy 1 server, 1 license, 2 extra domains and network the phone system amongst ALL 3 companies. Each company will have their own domain. Each company can have their own DID range, each company can have their own ISDN/T1, Analogue or SIP trunks.
- 1 Server
- 1 Network

*** 2 extra domains on the license
Each Domain has its own
