Technical 'Know How'
Some technical questions
Bandwidth - 'Know How' -
You need approximately 90kbps per call for a G711 codec call. The G729 codec uses about a quarter of this bandwidth.
Starting pbxnsip - 'Know How' -
pbxnsip when installed on Windows uses a service. A service is a way to stop and start a program that runs in the background. You can find the services section in Administrators Tools which is inside the Control Panel.
Extension Numbering - 'Know How' -
Many people start their extension with 100 or 200. You may want to use higher numbers because you will run into problems when using an Auto Attendant that has options 1 and 2. You will not be able to dial extensions starting with 1 or 2 from the auto attendant, as the match will always take place on 1 or 2.
TEL: Alias - 'Know How'
Your inbound DID/DDI should be mapped to a TEL:alias. If a trunk is set to 'Global', it is visible in all dial plans, therefore the inbound call will match a TEL:alias in other domains.
