Service Flags Help - pbxnsip

Manual or Time Based - 'Know How' -

A service flag can be configured to be manually set or time based.

If it is manually set, then be sure to grant access to the extensions who may dial the service flag and toggle it on or off.

Time based service flags will kick in when during the times outside of the declared times. For example if you stated 9:00 - 13:00 this means that any time before 9am the flag is set and any time after 1pm the flag is set.

Thursday, 25 December 2008

Did your phone still ring on Christmas day?

Set Holidays with a Service Flag- 'Know How' -

You can set whole days in a service flag, simply use the days field within the time based setting. For example 12/25 will render the service flag as set for the 25th December.

Happy Christmas!

What are privacy settings on a trunk?

The trunk may or may not register. Besides this, the ITSP or gateway which receives the information may need the Caller-ID of the calling party to be passed to it. This is does via the privacy indication setting. Try each setting until you find the right one.

What is a DDI?

What is a DDI?

A telephone number that allows external callers into the PBX to dial directly to the required extension without going through a switchboard operator

Monday, 22 December 2008

What is a dial plan?

What is a Dial Plan?

A dial plan is designed to route calls if they don't exist on the PBX. The routing logic within pbxnsip is to see if the number dialled is held locally within the domain, if it is, call that number. If the number dialled is not held within the domain, the PBX will send the call to the Dial Plan associated with the account. Here the dial plan is used to match certain routing criteria configured by the administrator.

A dial plan can be easy or complex, it all depends how you need to configure your call routing on the PBX.

pbxnsip Europe Users Group Success

European User Group - Amsterdam - A Huge Success

On the 5th December at the impressive World Trade Centre in Amsterdam, some 17 resellers and distributors from 6 countries gathered for the first pbxnsip Users Group.

The day kicked off with an action packed agenda and was hosted by Jonathan Greenwood - CEO of pbxnsip Europe Ltd and John Bennett - European Sales Director. The first couple of sessions were presented by Jonathan before he introduced the first of our three sponsors - VegaStream.

Steve Davis and James Linton took to the floor to give an in-depth presentation titled "Vegastream and pbxnsip - a winning partnership". The presentation covered points on Security, Failover, Resilience, IP Routing and SIP Trunking to pbxnsip. VegaStream and pbxnsip go back a long way and with both products using Open Standards we really do have a winning solution.
Congratulations to Jean Charles Mathy from Bizzdev of Belgium, who won a VegaStream Europa Gateway in our pbxnsip lottery towards the end of the day.

Following a nice buffet lunch, the afternoon session kicked off with a presentation from Chris Wortt from Polycom. Chris explained how pbxnsip was a Polycom VIP (Voice Interoperability Program) Partner and how this benefits resellers in the knowledge that the two products were regression tested for quality and interoperability.
Congratulations to Mark Koot of TopIT Distribution in the Netherlands who won the Polycom IP Office 6000 conference phone.

Our final sponsor presentation came from ICM, a pbxnsip partner in the arena of Hosted Call Centre Solutions. ICM have built a call centre product which is powered by pbxnsip. The ICM solution includes such things as a Predictive dialler, screen pops, scripting for agents and many of the call centre features you would expect from a call centre application.

Congratulations to Francois Tilleul of Bizzdev (the second price to BizzDev!) who won a Call Centre 25 version of pbxnsip.

pbxnsip Service Flags - Information

Service Flags- 'Know How' -

Service Flags act as a very powerful routing engine within the PBX. A service flag is simply a switch, just like a light it is either on or off. We like to use the term Set or Clear, but the theme means the same.

If the flag is set then the PBX simply uses a different account or IVR.

pbxnsip and VegaStream announce survivability solution, to seal yet another advancement in their relationship

pbxnsip paired with VegaStream VoIP gateways provide superior building blocks for communication platforms. In order to meet the growing needs of businesses the pbxnsip and VegaStream solution is complete, reliable and totally secure.

LEEDS, 01 December 2008 – pbxnsip, a leader in SIP-based IP PBX software for Microsoft Windows, MAC and Linux environments, today announced interoperability success with VegaStream's "survivability software", the industry leading developer of reliable, cost-effective and easy to use VoIP gateways, to yet another level.

To aid channel partners and customers in an ever changing environment, pbxnsip and VegaStream today unveil their latest partner offering of a 30% discount + free survivability software on VegaStream VoIP gateways to channel partners who join the pbxnsip reseller programme, through this offer. To further compliment this, upon taking up the offer, resellers will receive a free Call Recording software upgrade when purchasing their pbxnsip IP-PBX licence. VegaStream have long been established as the premier gateway in the market and the addition of survivability software removes any possible objections by end users concerned about using VoIP services.

The need for VoIP solutions for business use is growing; both pbxnsip and VegaStream are responding to that need with an entirely software-based IP-PBX paired with an easy to use VoIP gateway, which as a solution is secure, robust, and has all the features a business needs. Crucially the solution includes failover survivability which means if your SIP trunk fails the call routing will automatically route to the PSTN. pbxnsip and VegaStream have harnessed their "open standard" product set to make their joint proposal both highly flexible and easy to integrate into any IT structure of any organization.

Among the numerous benefits of the pbxnsip IP-PBX, those of particular note include the wealth of features and high degree of scalability and reliability. As well as a cost that is significantly lower than that of traditional PBXs, greater ease of use and installation than for traditional proprietary systems. The ability to use existing network infrastructures by utilizing the VegaStream gateways interoperability makes it easy to integrate an organization's existing network and applications.

Another essential aspect for businesses, which is fully implemented in pbxnsip and VegaStream, is security. Indeed, this solution meets the highest security standards and ensures full communication protection. On top of this the free survivability software from VegaStream ensures this solution offers the highest degree of resilience and backup available on the market. Features such as local routing upon connectivity failure and geographic location recognition makes the VegaStream and pbxnsip solution a must for business continuity in the VoIP arena.

"We are once again very happy to release another advancement in our partnership with VegaStream", said Jonathan Greenwood, CEO at pbxnsip Europe Ltd. "VegaStream and pbxnsip have a long standing partnership and have many new and innovative technology enhancements to bring to businesses needing reliable, stable and robust communications platforms. 2008 has been a great year for pbxnsip and VegaStream and the development goes on. Q1 2009 will be very interesting for both companies", he added.

"I was delighted that interoperability testing went so well" said Steve Davis, EVP Sales & Marketing. "The seamless switchover between SIP trunks and the PSTN was effortless. In the situation of a broadband outage an end user would not realise that his calls had been automatically switched to the PSTN. When the broadband link is re-instated then calls are routed back over SIP trunks".

To benefit from the 30% discount offer + Free survivability software and pbxnsip Call recording IP-PBX licence, please contact VegaStream's sales team by visiting http://www.VegaStream.com/ or send an email to Sales@VegaStream.com or eusales@pbxnsip.com mentioning 'VegaStream & pbxnsip Promotion' on the subject line. The trial download for setting up pbxnsip Version 3 for Windows, MAC or Linux can be found on the pbxnsip website at: http://pbxnsip.com/trial .

Sales Know How - pbxnsip on Call Back

Call Back - 'Know How' -

Call back, call in and dial out!

Cost saving feature: in basic terms - Inbound call comes into 'call back' - extension asks authenticates with username and password, then asks pbxnsip to call back to either a mobile device or land line.

pbxnsip then calls the user back, re-authenticates and asks for a destination number - user enters the number, pbxnsip makes the call then glues the two calls together meaning that the call is being charged at the outbound pbx rate not a cross network or mobile rate.

pbxnsip CS410 Know How

Technical 'Know How'

Some technical questions

CS410 start up - 'Know How' -
Upon initialization you will see the Power and Run lights on solid green and the LAN connection amber if it is plugged in. The run light will change to flashing green once the system is up and running. By default the WAN port is programmed to be IP Address 192.168.1.99. The LAN port will get it's IP Address from your DCHP server which is normally the router.

CS410 Hang Up Detection - 'Know How' -
FXO Analogue detection is different in most countries. We have added some changes to the pbx to detect when an FXO line is not active but still connected. In these cases the PBX will drop the call.

CS410 max extensions- 'Know How' -
The CS410 comes in 2 versions, CS410 and CS425. Each has 10 and 25 extensions. The processing power of the appliance will not cope with any more extensions than 25. It does not support G729 calls to the gateway or call recording. Such processing is far too high for our cool 5 watt appliance.

CS410 - cool as a cucumber - 'Know How'
A cucumber is green and so too is the CS410 and CS425. With only 5 watts of electricity it saves power costs.

CS410 - Use it without FXO - 'Know How'
With the cost of the CS410 and CS425 is so low you don't have to use the FXO ports. With an all in one appliance at 5 watts of electricity, you will save on hardware and power consumption from day 1.

pbxnsip Plug and Play with new series snom 820

snom release the next generation 820 IP Phone

Easy to use with pbxnsip!
The new snom 820 IP phone will join the list of Plug and Play (PnP) IP Phones currently supported by pbxnsip.

As with all snom IP phones, the PBX will configure the extension details and all buttons on the phone, making it easy to use with out-of-the-box functionality. Firmware is also controlled via the PBX.

About the New snom 820 -The snom 820 is a new step in combining high class telephony with an extraordinary design. The snom 820 is the beginning of a superior line of business VoIP phones. It's extraordinary elegance and performance combines both: latest technology and well known snom features. The snom 820 is an amazing experience for everybody who is used to the basic world of telephony.

The snom 820 VoIP phone is the beginning of a new business phone series from snom. It is like the prelude of a new masterpiece in VoIP technology. In this series we want to merge two of the main requirements of modern telephony in one device: mature VoIP technology and design in a class of its own.

With its large high-resolution TFT colour display (3.5, 320 x 240 pixels) the snom 820 offers a brilliant depiction of call lists, phone directories, and caller information via the integrated XML browser.

The wideband technology used in the handset captures more than double of the spectrum of voice frequencies that by standard phones. This means the audio quality can be compared to FM radio. On speakerphone a Class D amplifier reliably suppresses interference noise. This means high power conversion efficiency combined with an excellent sound.

Additionally, the new snom 820 WiFi enables you to install the phone in any surrounding you are. Whatever you prefer, the snom 820 is prepared for any option: Power over plug, Power over Ethernet (PoE) or WiFi.

The new look of the snom 820 was designed in cooperation with very renowned German industrial designers - and this first model of the new product line of snom phones is living up to the highest expectations in functionality and timeless beauty.

A Canadian view on pbxnsip

This article is written be Jason Shave. You can see Jasons article at http://jason-shave.blogspot.com/2008/09/pbxnsipcom-inphonexcom.html

......

Well its about time I wrote about my experiences with www.pbxnsip.com as a software based PBX and www.inphonex.com as an online SIP provider.

First off, I can't say enough about the support from pbxnsip so far! I was new to the VoIP world when I started investigating options for my lab environment where I wanted to build out something more than an IM and web conferencing solution. After working through many of the issues with my OCS Edge servers, I finally had an environment I could prove out all my scenarios and began looking for a software PBX.

Somewhere along the way I found a post about pbxnsip and their work with Microsoft Office Communications Server. I quickly checked the compatibility guide for IP-PBX's and noticed they were already listed on the Exchange 2007 UM site: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/library/cc164342.aspx#supIPPBX

So this was good news!

Even though they're not on the tekVizion list of certified PBX's for OCS --yet, this was a viable option. Thanks as well to their wiki page on the subject: http://wiki.pbxnsip.com/index.php/Office_Communications_Server.

So this is what I needed to get all the software bits in place, now it was time to find a SIP trunk provider. I asked around and did some digging online and found www.inphonex.com which I think is based in Miami, FL, USA. They were able to provide me a DID based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and their rates were decent. So far I've been happy with their service even though the odd time I call my DID I get a busy signal....but not to bad for a lab environment.

For those of you who are looking for an alternative to www.inphonex.com, check out www.voiphiway.ca as they seem to have slightly better prices and have a more "trusting" web presence.

Cheers!
Jason Shave.

Comtrol developed the Universal Hospitality Language Layer (UHLL) message language and is now the industry standard platform that enables communication between Property Management Systems (PMS) and Guest Service System (GSS) devices, such as a PBX. By supporting UHLL, pbxnsip can interface with a large number of PMS systems in hotels and motels around the world.

Did you know? - Comtrol technology now integrates over 510 Hotel System Devices! - this means there is a huge market and opportunities for pbxnsip in the hotel and hospitality industry.

IP PBX feature comparison - Avaya IP Office vs pbxnsip

pbxnsip and Avaya IP Office are both IP PBX servers.

So what is the main difference in the feature set?

Well the main one I can say straight away is that Avaya IP Office is a traditional PBX with an IP interface on it. It is not written using the Open Standard SIP protocol, instead it uses proprietary software and hardware to achieve the same as pbxnsip.

In the short, it does not give you the freedom to buy any IP based SIP Phone (Snom, Polycom or many of the others), SIP Gateways (Vegastream, Audio codes, Sangoma, Dialogic or many of the others) or even deploy it on your own server hardware and operating system.

Have a conference on pbxnsip!

A few customers use pbxnsip simply as a conference server.

They have probably bought into the traditional system like that of Avaya IP Office, Mitel, Cisco and many others, only to find they have to re-mortgage their house just to get the extra module to allow for conferences.

At $690.00, the Office 10 version of pbxnsip will give you a fully working conference facility without breaking the bank.

You never know, you might just can the old traditional system when you find we can offer a better deal all round!

YSL - takes on the Streets with SIP and IP PBX

YSL takes on the streets with pbxnsip and Microsoft

YSL - a pbxnsip distribution partner in South Africa leverages pbxnsip for unified communications solution.

With the growing demand from a new generation of consumers for the ultimate in communications convenience, South African ICT innovator YSL Group has integrated pbxnsip technology into its solutions for unified communications in residential estates.

Particularly in its urban areas, many South Africans choose to live in gated communities. With many accustomed to a high standard of living, these residential estates are designed to deliver convenience and quality of life. Among the many services considered essential for their operation is high-speed internet access and the services which enhance the value of raw connectivity.

Internet connectivity has rapidly progressed from a fringe service used by the few and the privileged, to a point where for many people and especially 'Generation Y' individuals, it is as essential as lights and water.

Louis Yssel CEO of YSL Group explains that it is Microsoft-based, fully hosted Unified Communications solution for new residential complexes incorporating pbxnsip which plays a key role in enabling the integration of telephony with the Microsoft email, calendaring and instant messenger functions. "Our solution is based on providing the user with access to a full communications suite which includes email, fax, telephony, SMS, and internet access, from a single Ethernet port. One piece of reticulation delivers every conceivable Internet based service," he says.

Technical Know How - SIP IP PBX and pbxnsip Know How

Technical 'Know How'

Some technical questions

Bandwidth - 'Know How' -

You need approximately 90kbps per call for a G711 codec call. The G729 codec uses about a quarter of this bandwidth.

Starting pbxnsip - 'Know How' -

pbxnsip when installed on Windows uses a service. A service is a way to stop and start a program that runs in the background. You can find the services section in Administrators Tools which is inside the Control Panel.

Extension Numbering - 'Know How' -

Many people start their extension with 100 or 200. You may want to use higher numbers because you will run into problems when using an Auto Attendant that has options 1 and 2. You will not be able to dial extensions starting with 1 or 2 from the auto attendant, as the match will always take place on 1 or 2.

TEL: Alias - 'Know How'

Your inbound DID/DDI should be mapped to a TEL:alias. If a trunk is set to 'Global', it is visible in all dial plans, therefore the inbound call will match a TEL:alias in other domains.

Easy Know for pbxnsip - the real IP PBX -

Easy 'Know How'

Questions you are too afraid to ask!

Learn some Easy 'Know How'

What is TLS?

Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a protocol that is used for establishing a secure connection between a client and a server. In this case the client is your phone and the server is the PBX.

What is a Log level?

Information displayed under Log level 9 is everything that is going on with the server. Log level 0 will only report important trace. Log Level 9 should only be switched on whilst you capture the trace, on a busy system this could slow things down.

What is Loopback Protection?

With SIP, the number you call is actually sent with the domain information included (just like email). Sometimes this can cause the call to come back into the domain and therefore create a loop. Loops can come round many hundreds of time in 1 second.

What is an SBC?

Session Border Controller (SBC) is a device or application that governs the manner in which calls, also called sessions, are initiated, conducted and terminated in a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network.

What's the pbxnsip CS410 all about?

Small offices have different requirements
In the past, small offices were not blessed with reasonable VoIP solutions. Now that has changed.

  • Small offices don't like noisy servers. Moving parts like server hard drives and fans create a lot of noise that you just don’t want in a small office. And every moving part increases the risk of a mechanical failure. You might put your IP PBX right under your table and you won't feel it.

  • Running a 400 Watt server 24 hours per day 7 days a week is not an option for small offices. Check out your electricity bill and you know what we are talking about. Saving electricity is not only good for your wallet, it is also good for our environment.

  • When it comes to service reliability, good old FXO is still a very good option for small offices. Keep your numbers that you already have without missing the advantages of VoIP. Being able to use SIP trunking for specific routes makes this option even more attractive and keeps your FXO service provider bill reasonable.

Small offices want it all

Without missing any feature, we put the pbxnsip PBX into an embedded appliance that comes with a 4-port FXO gateway. You can use all features of the “big” IP PBX in the same way on the appliance:

  • Use the pbxnsip auto attendant to route the calls in your organization.

  • Keep callers in waiting lines and entertain them with music and announcements

  • Park calls, send them to voicemail or pick up ringing calls from other extensions

  • Use the conference server to schedule conferences with PIN codes for access

  • Send out emails when you miss a call or when you have a new voicemail message

  • Use the pbxnsip TAPI driver to use your address book for dialing out

  • If you have wireless gear like WiFi or cordless phones, connect it them through SIP

As additional benefit, the pbxnsip CS410 appliance comes with a music on hold input connector that you can connect to any analog music source (for example, CD player, MP3 player or radio). And if your office does overhead paging, you will be please to hear that the pbxnsip CS410 has a connector that can be connected to your overhead paging equipment.

When customers are calling, they will not have the impression they are talking to a small office.

Growing your business is not a problem

If your office grows, you can later move your setup to a server-based platform without even losing a single voicemail message. There is no magic number of ports that forces you to write off your investments when employee number 17 is coming on board.

Whatever you buy, as long as it is talking SIP you can be sure it is a good investment. Check out the latest devices on the market, they are all options for you.

More information available.

Plug and Play pbxnsip - Polycom, Snom and Cisco

Someone told me the other day that we don't 'shout' about the "Auto Provisioning" (PnP) of IP Phones enough!

OK, I've listened to you and here you go...

pbxnsip currently configures the following phones, ready to use, configured and with firmware upgrades.

Polycom
Snom
CISCO

I hear your customer asking these sorts of questions -
Why should a user have to manually configure phones?
We never used to configure the phone in the past, we just plugged them in and they worked, so why should you the user expect anything different?

Allow pbxnsip to configure the phone and you don't have to open up the web interface and tinker with the 100s of settings inside. Neither do you have to upgrade the firmware, reboot the phone or do anything. End users simply need a phone that just plugs in and plays.

Is it that easy?
Yes, once pbxnsip is configured all you need to do is point the phone at the server, appliance, PC or laptop running pbxnsip and allow pbxnsip to do the rest. The key here is the set-up and configuration of the pbx in the first place.

Why is home working so popular?

Every day I see the price of gas rise. When the price drops it only drops by about 45% of the original rise.

So what has gas prices got to do with an IP PBX?

Have you ever thought... "if I could only work from home for 2-3 days a week, I could save money by not driving to work".

pbxnsip IP PBX can be used so that you can have a public interface and private interface.

Remote workers connect their IP Phones or softphones via the public interface. This means they are in contact with the office and better still the cost of the call is free.

Start working at home, use pbxnsip for a home working solution. All you need is pbxnsip, a few IP Phones and maybe a gateway to glue your old traditional PBX to the new IP PBX from pbxnsip.

pbxnsip and Mitel are both IP / PBX servers. So what is the main difference in the feature set?

What accounts and options are available on pbxnsip?

I finished a phone call with a new customer and he asked me the same question I get asked every day by many other customers...

What accounts and options are available on pbxnsip?

The following options are available:

Recording: This option makes it possible to record calls. You may either record calls automatically or let users push the record button on their phone.

SOAP: This license option is required when you want to use the SOAP interface of the PBX.

Security: SIPS and Security is included by default. This option enabled the end-to-end security feature of the PBX. If you don’t have this option, you can still have secure phone calls, but the PBX does not check if both sides of the call are using a secure connection.

Call Intercept: If you want to be able to barge into calls, use the teach mode or listen to calls, you need this license option.

Calls: Limit the number of calls.

The following Accounts are available:

Accounts: This license key value defines how many account you can have in total. Accounts include extensions, conference rooms, auto attendants, agent groups, hunt groups, paging groups, calling cards, ivr nodes, service flags, CO-lines and everything else that can be dialed as an object on the PBX.

The number of alias names is not affected by this key element.

Attendants: Virtual receptionist
Calling Cards: Call back or normal calling card.
Hunt Groups: Hunt set groups of people with different stages.
Paging Groups: Page announcements over a speaker system.
Service Flags: Define time based flags to work with accounts.
IVR Nodes: An individual IVR with SOAP hook for remote call routing.
Agent Groups: ACDs or queues. Call Centre call queueing with 10 announcements per queue
Conference Rooms: Conference room with named announcements and pin based authentication

Domains: You need at least one domain on the system, other domains allow you run the PBX the same way you do an email server - multiple domain partitions.

Trunks: An entry point in and out of the PBX

The following extensions are available:

CO-Lines: The monitoring of trunk lines coming in and out of the PBX.
Extensions: Define how many extensions are available on the system.

Is VoIP secure?

Is VoIP secure? well yes and no.

It all depends if you have an IP Phone and IP PBX that supports SIPS and SRTP.

Click here to try a Secure IP PBX!

Some IP PBX manufacturers can do End-to-End Security using SIPS/SRTP. Those who do will survive in the VoIP and IP PBX market.

Why should you expose yourself to threats. Threats from the inside are just as bad as people tapping your line. A disgruntled employee who taps the bosses phone will make a huge headache when they start to use the information.

A really good combination are Polycom or Snom IP Phones mixed togther pbxnsip. All three offer the use of SIPS (Secure SIP) and SRTP (Secure RTP - the voice media).

The great thing about the Polycom or Snom IP Phones is that they can be automatically be provisioned directly from pbxnsip

Did you know that a VoIP message can be listened to very easily!
All you need is a free tool from the Internet called Wireshark, listen to all the packets of data, find the call you want, select RTP, save the payload as a file and play it on your windows machine.

pbxnsip paired with Sangoma Gateway Cards Provide Superior Building Blocks for Communication Platforms, In order to meet the growing needs of businesses, the new pbxnsip solution is complete, reliable, and totally secure

We announced this today in the press! -

pbxnsip has developed its IP PBX software to support Sangoma® Technologies Corporation, newest product line, NetBorderTM Express VoIP Gateway Cards. This has further enhanced its offering with a new overall solution for IP telephony, a segment that is posting rapid growth and attracting increasing interest from businesses worldwide.

Sangoma's award-winning telephony cards together with this new set of software building blocks, deliver a robust pbxnsip to TDM VoIP Gateway solution. pbxnsip resellers, distributors and end users can use NetBorder Express with their pbxnsip IP PBX to deploy future proof, stable and secure solutions.

The NetBorder Express solution is unique, as the gateway card can reside in the same server as pbxnsip IP PBX software. Also, the installer, configuration, and management interfaces can easily be integrated to deliver a single, tightly-coupled solution, as an alternative to pbxnsip and an external media gateway.

“I'm very pleased with the ratification between pbxnsip IP PBX and Sangoma NetBorder Express Gateway, we have been looking for such a product for many years and I have lost count of the number of queries from pbxnsip resellers for a server driven internally deployed gateway. I'm very excited to see the NetBorder Express success over the coming months” said Jonathan Greenwood, CEO pbxnsip Europe Ltd

"When developers need to incorporate VoIP gateway functionality on their next generation platforms, they are faced with two choices: to buy an off-the-shelf gateway, which works well but will not provide a tight level of application integration, or to develop their own, which will be very costly in R&D and remove focus from application development," said Frederic Dickey, Director of Product Management for the NetBorder product line. "Sangoma's NetBorder Express Gateway Cards provide customers the best of both worlds - a ready to use gateway, which also easily integrates with the customers' applications."

"pbxnsip users are traditionally accustom to integrating the IP PBX software with an external hardware media gateway to break out into the PSTN. VoIPon customers can now offer Sangoma NetBorder Gateway as another option, offering users a more compact all in one server with pbxnsip IP PBX and NetBorder Gateway integration” said Alexis Argent, Sales Manager at VoIPon Solutions and distributor for Sangoma in the UK and Europe.

NetBorder Express Gateway Cards include Telco-grade, hardware echo cancellation. Customers can purchase up to eight spans on a single board and can put multiple boards in a server alongside pbxnsip IP PBX. NetBorder Express 1.6 is available now for Windows with T1/E1 interfaces. Analogue and BRI interfaces are planned, as is a Linux version of the software.

The trial download for setting up pbxnsip Version 3 for Windows, MAC or Linux can be found on the pbxnsip website at: http://pbxnsip.com/trial
If you already own a Sangoma T1/E1 card with hardware echo cancellation, you can download a trial version of the software from the Sangoma web site at: www.sangoma.com/nbe_trial/
